Hampshire Chamber of Commerce

North Hampshire Chamber of Commerce & Industry Logo

Hampshire Chamber of Commerce provides leadership and support to the Hampshire business community in all its goals and ambitions. Formed by the phased merger of North Hampshire Chamber of Commerce, Portsmouth & South East Hampshire Chamber of Commerce and Southampton & Fareham Chamber of Commerce, the new County Chamber combines the strength and expertise from these well established organisations bringing you enhanced services, a wider network and a more influential voice.

The Chamber is owned and led by its membership comprising local business organisations of all sectors and sizes. As a private sector, not for profit Company we are independent and can therefore lobby effectively to make Hampshire the place to do business. We will be retaining our 5 local offices in Basingstoke, Fleet, Havant, Southampton and Winchester as remaining embedded in our local business communities is key to everything we do.

Hampshire Primary Care Trust Logo

Hampshire Primary Care Trust

Hampshire Primary Care Trust is the largest PCT in the country. We aim to improve the health of the local community, reduce inequalities in health and make sure people have access to safe, high quality health services. We do this by:

  • working with the local community to develop services that improve their health and well-being
  • commissioning a comprehensive and equitable range of high quality, responsive and efficient health services

We work with local hospitals, specialist health providers, GPs and other family health practitioners, local authorities, and the community as a whole to make sure services are doing the right things and are being provided from the right place.

We serve about 1.26million people and have an annual budget of around £1.9 billion - around £1,508 for every person in our area. It is our job to make sure that this money is invested wisely and doing the most it can for the most number of people.
